The School of Economics and Management of the University of
Minho is hosting the IV Social Economy Days, under the theme ‘Uma visão prateada sobre a Economia Social’. The event will take place on 6 December 2024, in the
EEG's dst Auditorium, and is an initiative of the 2nd year students of the
Master's Degree in Social Economy, reflecting the University's commitment to
research and practice in the area of social economy.
The event includes the S. Martinho de Dume Award Ceremony,
which will be attended by Luís Aguiar-Conraria, president of the EEG, Eduardo
Duque, from the Pastoral of Culture - Archdiocese of Braga, and Rita Valadas,
from Cáritas Portuguesa. The JES programme continues with a Round Table on the
subject of "E depois da reforma? A atividade profissional depois da reforma",
followed by a practical session organised by the Human Power Hub, Braga,
entitled "A inovação e a transformação digital nas longas idades". In the final
part of the event, we return to a Round Table, this time on the theme of
"Desenvolvimento da Economia Prateada em contextos Económicos distintos".
The event is part of the cycle of lectures promoted as part
of EEG's Transversal Skills Development Programme (EEGenerating Skills).
