Access Requirements
• Holders of a bachelor's degree or legal equivalent in any field;
• Holders of a foreign higher academic degree awarded following a 1st cycle of studies organised according to the principles of the Bologna Process by a State adhering to this Process;
• Holders of intermediate management positions in Public Administration;
• Holders of a scientific, academic and professional curriculum that demonstrates capacity for qualification for a doctoral degree may also apply, subject to curricular assessment.
Final Classification
Final classification = α (A) + β (B) + Ω (C)
Where
- α is the weighting of component A [0.2]
- A is the Professional Experience of the candidate [0-20]
- β is the weighting of component B [0.6]
- B is the Specific Professional Training of the candidate [0-20]
- Ω is the weighting of component C [0.2]
- C is the average Bachelor's degree classification of the candidate [0-20]
The breakdown is as follows:
A. Professional Experience
B. Specific Professional Training
C. Average Bachelor's degree classification
Therefore, the algorithm, in full, has the following expression:
Final classification = α (A) + β (B) + Ω (C)
Students must obtain a minimum final classification of 10 points. Candidates who do not achieve this classification will be considered excluded. The formal specification of the weightings attributed to each of the components and the score reserved for each criterion, for this 2nd cycle course, is as follows:
Table 1 – Algorithm components and respective weightings, and criteria and corresponding classification intervals
Criterion/Master's |
IMAP |
α. Weighting of component A |
0.2 |
A. Professional Experience |
0 - 20 |
β. Weighting of component B |

B. Specific Professional Training |

Ω. Weighting of component C |

C. Average Bachelor's degree classification |
0 - 20 |
These weightings, included in criterion A, contribute to defining the desired profile of candidates, regarding their professional experience.
