Marco Edgar Sousa Escadas, Visiting
Professor equated to Assistant Professor of the Management Department of the
School of Economics and Management, was distinguished with the "Best PhD
Thesis Award in Consumer Behavior" at the International Conference on
Innovation and Entrepreneuship in Marketing and Consumer Behavior – ICIEMC
2021, held in Aveiro from June 30th to July 1st, for his work entitled “From
Sufficient to Necessary: The Integrated Role of Emotions on Consumer Ethical
Decision Making”, supervised by Minoo Farhangmehr (School of Economics and
Management of the University of Minho) and Marjan S. Jalali (ISCTE – Lisbon
University Institute).
This work, which includes five
distinct empirical studies, aimed to analyse the integrated and
multidimensional role of emotions in the consumer's ethical decision-making
process, having been published in several journals of high scientific
reputation.
